About Von Thomas

Von Thomas was born and raised in Miami, FL, where he attended Monsignor Edward Pace High School. He is a graduate of Concordia University, NE where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and double minor in Criminal Justice and Geography. He was also a standout athlete as a 3-year starter on the football team. Prior to joining Avid Realty, Von has also spent several years working at Concordia as the Multicultural Program Specialist and Assistant Director of Student Life where he dedicated his time and energy serving the students and their families. Von also served on the Civil Service Commission in the City of Seward for several years. Von continues to work as a Benefits Advisor for InsureU Agency. In his spare time, Von enjoys spending time with his family, playing basketball, being outdoors, golfing, or brewing beer (weather permitting). He is the proud husband to Kerry Thomas and father of Sophia, Von Thomas III and Rhett Svehla.
